Report from the field (literally) of the Way of Play Beltane gathering
A recipe for an outstanding and handstanding gathering
Ingredients
A field (with comical bumps and holes)
A teepee (which may or may not leak)
The Shower of Joy
Bridget the compost toilet/library.
Add
A bushel of playful friends and joyful spirits.
Mix people well with workshops, play, good food, a maypole and a campfire.
Add a generous spoonful of chaos and laughter. Also add a quart of hugs and a fathom of deep dives.
Keep simmering and combining for three days. Care carefully for all, including stray babies, children, dogs, souls, spirits and Benjii.
Decant and serve with sunshine, optional downpours and flowers.
Serves approx 30 people
